Current website data use

The public website currently has no account system or contact form. No audience analytics, customer-relationship management system, live chat, advertising tool or advertising tracker is planned for the current launch. The site does not intentionally set non-essential cookies.

An editor available only through a dedicated URL parameter can save draft website copy in the editor’s own browser storage. That information remains on that device unless the editor resets or clears it.

Email enquiries

Contact links open the visitor’s email application. If a visitor chooses to send an email, EVE receives the sender’s address, message and any other information they include in order to review and respond to the enquiry.

Providing this information is voluntary. Without it, EVE cannot receive or respond to the enquiry.

Email is provided through Gmail as part of Google Workspace. The Google Workspace subscription is purchased and billed through Squarespace, acting as Google Workspace reseller. Google provides the email service and may process email data under its Workspace data-processing terms.

Google and its subprocessors may process email data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Google states that it uses recognised transfer mechanisms under its data-processing terms, including standard contractual clauses.

Commercial enquiries are processed to take steps requested before a potential contract and to pursue EVE’s legitimate interest in responding to relevant business enquiries. Teddy STANAWAY-TEAO is the only authorised internal recipient.

Enquiry emails are retained for up to three years from collection or the sender’s last meaningful contact, then deleted unless a contract, legal obligation or dispute requires a different retention period.

Technical hosting data

The website domain is eve.technology and hosting is provided by OVH SAS. OVH may process IP addresses, timestamps and technical request information to deliver and secure the website.

EVE does not use hosting logs for audience analytics or advertising. OVH retains technical data for the periods necessary to operate and secure its service and meet applicable legal obligations, under its published policies and contractual terms.

Automated decisions and marketing

The website does not use automated decision-making or profiling. EVE does not currently use website enquiry data for automated marketing campaigns.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable data-protection law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of their personal data, and may object to certain processing.
